Work Experience
 

At present:  Chief Financial Officer, Frigorifico Rioplatense SA.

Rioplatense is one of the most important sloughtering houses and meat procesors in Argentina. Anual sales (Y2006) for over US$ 120 MM (50% exports).

Started working in Rioplatense in February 2002, short after Argentina left "converibility".  During the last 5 years the company grow consistely and

I do not work exclusivly for Rioplatense but also help Martin and Rodolfo Costantini with other familys business.  Martin Costantini was also my boss at my prevoius job at Greenwich Investments.

Since February 1999 to December 2001:  Associate, Greenwich Investments.

Greenwich Investments is a "Buyout Boutique" dedicated to acquisition & turnaround of distressed companies. Financial advisory & deal brokerage. Greenwich seeks to acquire control over management and operations, design financial and operational turnaround plans, have a direct and central role in their execution and produce and implement exit strategies. Greenwich seeks to obtain equity stakes in its target companies upon entry at distressed valuation levels and benefit from the upside produced by its intervention in the turnaround.  Most important deals done: La Prensa (daily newspaper), Plavinil (a producer of PVC films), La Serenisima (dairy producer).

From February 1999 until January 2000, I acted as Investment Analyst for Greenwich Investments, in such capacity, I was in charge of investment analysis, company valuations and business plan design. Since January 2000 until April 2001, I acted as CEO of Latin Lab, an Internet incubator created and owned by Greenwich. As CEO of Latin Lab I took the company and its incubated subsidiaries from a US$ 20,000 sales per month (and US$ 40,000 in monthly losses) to a cash flow positive company with monthly sales of US$ 50,000 (a 150% increase) and positive operating cash flow of US$ 20,000/month. Since April 2001 to December 2001, I worked as an associate for Greenwich mainly in charge of companies valuations..
